That's my new address. I live in a ginormous house. Since living here I have been scrounging around to find all my stuff to update this. I've been trying out every room to see which room sounds the best, so far my masterroom bathroom is the best. I have recently started a you tube page, I haven't recorded the news because I realize that people like watching videos more than listening to music. Go figure, maybe people are more visually stimulated, makes sense. So yes my url thing is Phoebebeefcow, random just like how I created C.o.w in the first place. I still have time right now to record random stuff, so I'm sure you will be seeing more stuff in the near future..
That line is from fight club, and it just reminds me of reality. That reality is powerful. Anyway that was random, recently I've been having crazy urges to just sing and sing and sing, nothing in particular just whatever crap that comes out of my mouth. I've also been listening to my old recordings and realizing how disgusting they were. I've been having this ongoing desire to just write something but with out any effort. Usually my songs are like that, and they sound like that, but I guess I'm really trying to find my style. I hear from some people that I am lucky to have found a style, but honestly I don't know what it is. As fas I know, I just sing what I want using 4 chords. So..I really need your help to just listen to my song and let me know what you think. What do you think I am singing about? Am I a teenager with a lot of angst? even though I'm not a teenager anymore. Or ..What do you think of my overall feel in my songs? and more practically, who would you say I sound like? I can tell you that my influences are artists such as bright eyes, sixpense, jenny lewis, the finches, and people like john denver. So..to make one first sentence kind of related to this, what do you smell in my music?
The creators of Stomp Clap are superb.
So I will hopefully be writing in here more, this site is all so overwhlemingly legit.
Here are my first updates:
I just did my first show at "It's A Grind" in La Habra (tough crowd) , hopefully I will do more.
I am also going to do some recording in the studio soon, my roomate's boyfriend hooked it up.
And now there is this website, a super upgrade from my myspace music page.
